Although Rottnest Island's unique accommodation is extremely popular, especially during the summer months, there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to enjoy an Island holiday. You have a choice of accommodation ranging from campsites, villas, bungalows and units, the Kingstown Barracks and Youth Hostel, or the Rottnest Quokka Arms Hotel and Rottnest Lodge.
Due to the popularity of Rottnest as a holiday destination, a ballot for unit accommodation is in place for the Western Australian school holiday period. To secure accommodation during the school holidays you must enter the ballot. For more information please click here. Periods outside the ballot can be booked up to 12 months in advance.
