Whether it is a day trip or an overnight camp, the Rottnest Island Education Program offers a range of dynamic activities, encouraging active student involvement and experiential learning. Students are able to investigate the Island's remarkable environment, including its history and culture; terrestrial and marine life; flora; and conservation and management.

As a response to feedback and to provide further engagement with a broader network of schools in Western Australia, the Rottnest Island Authority has worked with the Rottnest Island Business Community (RIBC) to provide a more collaborative booking process and special discounted rates on services for school groups.

To assist your school or community group in booking an excursion to Rottnest Island, we have created a planning guide called Your Living Classroom – A Teacher’s Guide to Planning an Excursion.
