Rottnest Island’s unique natural attractions, fun family activities and amazing tours make it Western Australia’s (WA) premier island destination.
With 63 beaches, superb snorkelling sites, friendly quokkas, 6,500 years of history to discover and 50 kilometres of roads to explore on a guided tour, bus or bike, you’ll be spoilt for choice when you step off the ferry. So plan ahead and check out the attractions, activities and tours on offer at Western Australia’s (WA) Rottnest Island.
School Holiday Activities

Fill your day with some great fun packed activities throughout the school holidays. Suitable for children of any age – even adults who are young at heart!
Every school holidays the Rottnest Island Authority Community Engagement unit together with the Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association offer a program of activities and tours that will get you out exploring and learning about Rottnest’s natural environment and interesting history.
A program brochure will be available to download from our website just prior to the conclusion of each school term. Alternatively, you can contact the Education team on 9372 9777 to be added to our email database.
Family Fun Park
The Family Fun Park is now open every day with mini putt-putt and trampolines available to entertain children of all ages.
Mini putt-putt 18 holes: Adult $8, Child (under 16) $4, Family (2 adults + 2 children) $20. Our trampolines are only $3 for ten minutes of fun.
In keeping with our ‘nostalgic’ theme we also have pinball machines, Pac-man, Space Invaders and even Air Hockey. The latest addition to our games is ‘Giant Chess’ so come down and book a game for the whole family. Giant Chess is $5 per game with a one hour time limit per game. Exchanges of books, games and puzzles also available.

Movies at the Picture Hall

Just 4 Fun Aqua Park
If you love outdoor fun and water then you’re going to love Just 4 Fun Aqua on Rottnest Island.
Just 4 Fun has a range of family activities and inflatable equipment suitable for all ages, including;
- Trampolines
- Slides
- Giant see-saws
- Rock climbing walls
- Water volleyball
- Obstacle course

Just 4 Fun Aqua Park on Rottnest Island is great for families, birthday parties, school groups and Corporate teambuilding.
SEASON OPENS – 1st Nov through to 31st April (weather permitting).
Open every day 10.30am – 5.00pm (except Christmas Day & Good Friday).
LOCATION – North Thompson Bay, Rottnest Island.
PRICES- Standard price - $12.50 for 30 minute or $20.00 for an hour.
Little kid’s Knee Deep park ONLY (7yrs under)- $7.50 30minutes or $12.50 hour.
