Rottnest
Island
is a Nature Reserve, a region of natural beauty and wonder with unspoilt beaches, spectacular flora and abundant marine life and wildlife. Public vehicles are not permitted on the Island; therefore, the traditional way to explore the Island is on bike.
On Your Bike!
Bikes are available to hire through your ferry company or at the Rottnest Island Bike Hire, near the Quokka Arms Hotel on the Island.
On goes the helmet and sunscreen, grab a towel and a bottle of water and off you go! Explore the Island's wonderful natural beauty. See quokkas resting in the shade, exotic and beautiful bird life, simply breathtaking ocean views and wonderful stretches of unspoilt beach! Visit the lighthouse or attempt the ride to West End. It's a fun, safe and healthy way to enjoy the very best of Rottnest Island.
