The Rottnest Island Bus Service provides visitors to the island with transport from the main accommodation areas and some of the most beautiful beaches and bays on the island.
Offering a regular scheduled service, it's a great way to explore the island.

Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus operates between the main accommodation areas on the island. Departing the main bus stop in Thomson Bay Settlement, the service travels to Geordie Bay Store for Geordie, Fay's and Longreach Bays, returns to the main bus stop and then departs to the airport and Kingstown Barracks.
This free service runs until 9:00pm for Geordie Bay. If you are considering going to the movies at the Rottnest Picture Hall, it is advisable to check the movie running times.
Bayseeker Service
This service does just as it says - it seeks out and drops you off at some of the most beautiful bays on the island. Purchase your all-day tickets from the main bus stop ticket booth or the Visitor Centre.
Please have the tickets ready to show the driver when re-boarding the service.
The Bayseeker is free from Geordie Bay to the main bus stop.
Rottnest Island Discovery Tour
Rottnest Island Discovery Tour is the Island's popular coach tour and includes full commentary from a coach captain on many aspects of the Island's unique history, environment, heritage and wildlife, as well as up-to-date information on new developments and activities on Rottnest.
Wadjemup Lighthouse and the West End are two of the highlights of this popular tour.
The tour takes approximately one and a half hours.
