ROTTNEST ISLAND IS SEEKING HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONALS
Casual, Part time and Full time positions available

(salary rate is over 21 years, and is dependant upon experience)
Pool recruitment - successful candidates will be placed in a pool for casual, part time and full time positions that become available. The pool will operate for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the initial selection into the pool. Please note that acceptance into the pool does not guarantee a placement.
Fixed term and permanent positions that may become available over the next twelve months will be filled from applicants deemed suitable from this pool process.. Opportunities are available for immediate filling.
Positions are based either at our Fremantle Office or at the Visitor Centre on Rottnest Island (commuting daily by ferry from Fremantle) and candidates will need to be available to be rostered over a seven day week.
Opportunities exist for passionate hospitality professionals in the following areas:
Front Office Agents
The "Face of Rottnest" you will create an amazing first impression to our guests when they arrive on Rottnest Island! The role involves providing information, selling island based tours and efficiently checking our guests in and out of island accommodation.
Central Reservations Agents
Working in our Fremantle Reservations Office, you will be the central point of all island information and driven to convert enquiries into bookings. The “Voice of Rottnest,” supplying all the right answers and assisting customers to plan their unique getaway, you will be a real personality!
For these roles we are seeking applicants with the following skills and experience:
Experience in point of sale or hotel front office computer programmes;
Well developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
Proven experience delivering excellent customer service in a busy service environment, preferably in the hospitality or retail sector;
Ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a national police clearance certificate.
