Environmental Awareness Course

The Rottnest Island Environmental Awareness Course offers a unique experience designed to give teachers, community leaders and members of the public an opportunity to increase their awareness and appreciation of Rottnest Island and make the most of future camps or excursions.

The two day (Friday and Saturday) course is packed with hands-on activities, adventures, and ideas to inspire participants and assist them in planning and conducting their own effective education programs on the Island.

Environmental Awareness Courses are tailored to their seasonal suitability with ‘Winter’ and ‘Summer’ course options available throughout the year.

The cost of the course includes a return ferry fare, accommodation at Kingstown Barracks, all meals, bike hire, all activities, tours, teacher resources and significant discounts on group accommodation for future visits.

If you hold a current EAC Certificate and would not like to participate in the full course again, but would like to update your knowledge and extend your priveledges for discounted accommodation, then this course may be for you!
