 Honorary Bay Hosts

The Rottnest Island Authority has been working intensively with its volunteer network and has modified its Honorary Bay Rangers programme.

Honorary Bay Hosts are situated in most of the bays around the island flying their distinctive blue and yellow flags of the island.  The volunteer programme has been established now for over 4 years and the Honorary Bay Hosts represent a cross section of experienced long term bay users with their role being to provide information of a safe, friendly and environmentally responsible use of the management of the island.

The Honorary Bay Hosts are there to assist with marine based issues and if you have any queries over any of the Rottnest Island Authority’s marine rules and regulations, please feel free to contact one of the hosts whilst you are out on the water.

Should you be interested in participating in the Honorary Bay Host programme, please contact the Rottnest Island Rangers for further information.
