About the Role
The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that as the first point of contact for clients and customers, the Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) is portrayed in a friendly and professional manner. This position is also responsible for maintaining a range of databases relating to administrative functions performed at the Fremantle Office. The expected outcome from this position is the delivery of professional and friendly service to the general public and staff whilst also providing administrative and project related support.

Rottnest, Western Australia’s very own Island getaway featuring picturesque scenery and some of the world's finest beaches and bays, is located just 19 kilometres off the coast of Fremantle.
The Island is an ‘A Class Reserve” and the Rottnest Island Authority’s role is to:
- Provide and operate recreational and holiday facilities on the island;
- Protect the Island’s flora and fauna; and
- Maintain and protect the Island’s natural environment and man-made resources.
