Rottnest Island

Travel to the Island with disabled access

Both Rottnest Express and Rottnest Fast Ferries assist passengers travelling to Rottnest in wheelchairs. 

Once on the Island, the Main Settlement (small district of shops, cafes and restaurants) is also accessible by wheelchair. It is recommended that you contact the Rottnest Island Visitor Centre on 9372 9732, prior to arrival to see what Island tours are available.

Rottnest Express

Rottnest Express iThe Star Flyte Express is equipped to enable easy access for wheelchairs and we ask all passengers travelling in wheelchairs to ensure that tickets are booked on this vessel only.

Star Flyte departs from Perth (Barrack Street) and North Port (Rous Head) terminals.

Rottnest Fast Ferries
The MV Seaflyte vessel departs from Hillarys Boat Harbour and is fully wheelchair and pram accessible so you will have no problem travelling to and from Rottnest.
