Rottnest Island will no longer be welcoming overnight guests and day visitors to the Island for the foreseeable future.
Rottnest Island Closure Directions have been issued by the State Emergency Coordinator. Failure to comply is punishable by a fine.
All boaters, including moorings licensees, authorised users and those with rental moorings bookings are required to remove any vessels from the Reserve by 12 noon Thursday 26 March 2020.
We respectfully ask that guests with accommodation bookings, including for Easter and school holidays, to please be patient. Our Reservations team will contact you as soon as possible to offer a 100% refund or credit for travel at a future date as appropriate. If you have any concerns or require urgent information about an accommodation booking with Rottnest Island Authority, we encourage you to call us on 1800 111 111 between 8:30am and 5:00pm AWST, Monday to Friday, but due to long call wait times, we ask that you please be patient.
Ferry operators will also be contacting their guests directly with advice about bookings and their terms of cancellation.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to Rottnest Island as soon as we can.
