The greatest place to spend the last day of the year is on Rottnest Island!

Spend a relaxing day soaking up the sun and exploring the pristine beauty of the island, followed by an afternoon of fun entertainment that the whole family will love.

With celebrations spaced out throughout the settlement precinct, you can ring in the New Year while keeping the whole family entertained.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Please ensure to register all members of your party, including children. Please note children must be accompanied by an adult.

With late evening ferry departures back to Fremantle and Hillarys, you’ll be able to enjoy all the action all day before heading home.

From 4 pm, kids can enjoy fun and immersive activities such as roving entertainment and performers, silent disco, circus workshop, live music and a photo booth.

Then at 9 pm, look skyward toward Thomson Bay for a spectacular firework display to send off 2022 and welcome in 2023.
