Live Music: Dimes to Riches

Brett Dimer and Daniel Riches form a versatile and dynamic duo of soulful vocals and cracking guitar riffs.

This incredible duo draws from a range of musical influences, including country, blues, gospel and indie rock.

Brett and Dan come from Wongi and Bardi Country, respectively, and fell in love with the guitar as children. 

Brett featured as the guitarist for popular Indigenous band The Picture Gardens, who won the Best Cover Category at the Meekatharra Battle of the Bands in 2009.   

Dan performs in The Struggling Kings with his brother, Luke Riches. The band has toured festivals all around Australia and won the award for Music's Best Indigenous Act in 2019. 

Be sure to check out these two incredible artists perform on Thomson Lawn. 

No bookings required and all are welcome to attend.   

While every intent is for events to go ahead as planned, in some circumstances they may have to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. 

Connect to Kambarang Program

This event is part of the Connect to Kambarang program with all-ages activities scheduled throughout November to celebrate the season of transformation on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island.

Where to find Live Music: Dimes to Riches

The event is located in the heart of the settlement, on Thomson Lawn. Visitors will find the event site just a two-minute walk from the main jetty.
