Wadjemup Weaving Workshop

Get hands on with Aboriginal culture and discover the basket weaving techniques of the Whadjuk Noongar community.

Guided by Whadjuk Noongar artist, Sharyn Egan, learn first-hand about weaving techniques and have a go at making your own basket.

This workshop provides a valuable opportunity to engage with the cultural heritage of Wadjemup and discover the significance of weaving, sourcing materials, and the importance of looking after Country.

This event is free but registration is required. Please ensure you register all members of your family, including adults and children. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times during the event.

While every intent is for events to go ahead as planned, in some circumstances they may have to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
