Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator
Full Time, Permanent, Level 4
Fremantle, PSGA $60,006 - $63,418 per annum
Rottnest Island is Western Australia's (WA) premier island getaway, located just off the coast of Perth. As a ‘Class A’ reserve, managed by the Rottnest Island Authority, the island boasts unique animal and plant life, as well as some of the most spectacular beaches in Australia.
The Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator is responsible for:

Maintaining the Authority’s Occupational Safety and Health systems;

Actively promoting safe systems of work and assisting with the development of a safety culture; and
-
The provision of a consultancy and advisory service to management and staff on all Occupational Safety and Health related matters.
If you have the following skills and experience we would like to hear from you!

Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply Occupational Safety and Health legislation and supporting codes and standards.

Well developed written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to write reports on complex matters and to write policies and procedures.

Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people.

Demonstrated ability to undertake research.
