Permits and fees

 

Functions and events

You will need to complete a Function Application form (pdf 48.1KB). Permits apply to both small and major events where the Island's environment and services are affected, and a non-refundable fee is charged.  Payment of the permit fee can be made by cheque or credit card.

Once permission has been given for your function or event, a Compliance form will be forwarded for your signature. The signed compliance form must be received prior to your function or event.

Weddings

A Function Application form (pdf 48.1KB) must be completed if you are conducting your ceremony or a photo session in any location apart from the Rottnest Chapel, Holy Trinity Church or licensed venue.

If you are unsure if your function or event requires a permit, please email the events team or call +61 8 9432 9300. Please note that applications for events should be submitted at least three months prior to the event, and that application fees are non-refundable unless your application is unsuccessful.
