Wadjemup / Rottnest Island is a popular school camp destination, offering a wealth of nature-based and cultural experiences to ignite curiosity among students of all ages. And now even more students can access the educational experiences on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island, with the Rottnest Island Authority Overnight Camp Subsidy.
Western Australian government schools can apply for the program which includes from 75% to 100% subsidised fees for Rottnest Island Authority accommodation, bike hire and educational tours for schools which meet the criteria of an Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) percentile between 0 to 60 based on the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) 2025 database.
