Golf on Rottnest Island
Please note
The Golf Course on Rottnest Island is temporarily closed for redevelopment and will reopen in October 2013. During this time the golf course and lawn bowls area will not be available for visitor use.
The Rottnest Island nine hole public golf course is the ideal venue for social, corporate and family groups to enjoy a special day out, or enhance their Island experience. The unique setting is at it's picturesque best between the months of May and October.

Elevated tees, a swamp and a lake make it a challenging experience for lovers of the game. The Rottnest Island Golf Club is still vibrant in it's 51st year, and stages four tournament weekends in the year. The main event, The Rottnest Cup, is held in August, and any golfer with a bona fide handicap may enter the tournament. Ladies compete for their own Ledger Trophy that weekend, and are encouraged to participate in all events through the year. The Chairman's Cup opens the season, with the 36 hole Classic held in June, and the season finale is usually mid October.
