Whether travelling by bus, bike or on foot, we advise that you bring a hat, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle. Wear lightweight, breathable clothing for comfort in summer, and be sure to pack a beach towel and swimsuit to enjoy the stunning marine sanctuaries that surround the island. In autumn, winter and spring, it’s best to pack a jumper and rain jacket or umbrella. Adventurous travellers may also like to bring a wetsuit to enjoy snorkelling or surfing in the cooler months.

The accommodation shuttle is available to all visitors, allowing easy travel between the Thomson Bay and Geordie Bay settlements.
