2026 Rottnest Running Festival

Enjoy a marathon and kids’ dash on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island while supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The Wadjemup Rottnest Running Festival, hosted by the West Australian Marathon Club, is a community event promoting distance running and raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

With options ranging from a full marathon to a 5 km fun run, and a Kids' Quokka Dash at 300 m, there’s something for everyone, including walkers and parents with young children and prams.

Marvel at the stunning scenery of Rottnest Island while challenging yourself and supporting a great cause. The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides vital medical care and emergency services to remote and rural areas of Western Australia. By participating in this event, you’re helping to ensure these critical services continue to be available to those who need them most.
