RVGA 40th Anniversary Exhibition

Discover the people and stories behind 40 years of guiding on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island.

For four decades, the Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association (RVGA) has helped visitors learn more about the history, heritage and environment of Rottnest Island.

Marking its 40th anniversary, this exhibition at Lomas Cottage traces the story of the association from its beginnings in 1986 through to today.

See historic photographs, objects and displays from across the decades, from handwritten tour notes and the early days of guiding to the tours and experiences now delivered by more than 300 volunteer guides.

The exhibition is free to visit and no registration is required.
