Now in its 47th year, Swim Thru Rottnest is one of the longest-running events on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island.

Hosted by the Cottesloe Crabs, the 2024 Swim Thru Rottnest will take place on Saturday 7 December 2024.  Participants can choose from 500 m and 1600 m swim distances in the crystal clear waters of Wadjemup / Rottnest Island.

With over 800 swimmers and spectators adding to the vibrant atmosphere, this event also raises important funds to keep the local community swim group, the Cottesloe Crabs, running as well as contributing to the Western Australian Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Online registrations open in late August / early September.

The Cottesloe Crabs Swimming Club Inc. was founded in 1973 and is a member of the Australian Winter Swimming Association

All swimmers aged 18 years or over are invited to join them and engage in the great sport of swimming.

The club is a great environment to meet new people and get fit at the same time. New members are always welcome.
