While Wadjemup / Rottnest Island feels a world away from the mainland, rest assured that you can find all the important amenities for a convenient and comfortable stay. 

You'll find accessible bathroom facilities, showers and drinking water across the main settlement, with additional toilets across the island and water refill points at the Army Jetty, Kingstown Barracks, The Basin, Vlamingh Lookout and Geordie Bay.

For those with little wanderers in tow, there are baby change facilities and playgrounds in central locations at Thomson Bay and Geordie Bay. 

Check the island map for bus stops, rest areas and barbeques around the island to plan your day, as well as boat fuel and water access points for those travelling on the water.
