South32 Rottnest Channel Swim Weekend

Get ready for an exciting weekend on Rottnest with one of the biggest annual sporting events in Australia on Saturday 22 February.

See the swimmers arrive, take your pick of a variety of food and drink options and enjoy special entertainment for the whole weekend.

Saturday

Swimmers embark on the 19.7km open water Channel Swim from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island, which will be the only place to see the swimmers complete this epic challenge, with the first swimmers expected to arrive at around 10.00am.

Please note that the fuel jetty in Thomson Bay will be closed to spectators this year to provide access for emergency services, but there are still plenty of viewing spots to see them come in from the water.

Top 3 viewing spots

  • Grassed area in front of the Salt Store
