Wadjemup Lighthouse

A lighthouse

The first lighthouse constructed on Wadjemup Hill was completed in 1849, standing at 16 metres tall. But after several ships were wrecked on the Island, the decision was made to construct a 30.4 metre tower which was completed 1896 and stands today with a range of 26 nautical miles.
