Clontarf Football Academy students from across WA play off in a round-robin Australian Rules football competition.

Over 100 students from the Clontarf Football Academy will head to Wadjemup / Rottnest Island in October for the 20th annual Wadjemup Cup.

Travelling from all around the state, as far north as Carnarvon and as far southeast as Esperance, students in Years 8 and 9 will compete in a round-robin Australian Rules football carnival to determine the Grand Final line-up and, ultimately, the winner of the coveted 2026 Wadjemup Cup.

Spectators are welcome to come down and cheer on the teams at this free community event. Frankie’s on Rotto will be onsite selling coffee, refreshments and light snacks. Simply bring along a picnic blanket and settle in to enjoy the games.

Please note photography and videography is not permitted at the event.
