Located in Thomson Bay, Kwoba Wirin-up, meaning Good Spirit Place in Noongar, offers a space for Aboriginal visitors and island workers to reflect, connect to Country, and undertake cultural practices on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island. 

Developed as an initiative of the Wadjemup Aboriginal Reference Group (WARG), the space acknowledges the enduring spiritual and cultural connection that Aboriginal communities have with the island.

Open to all, with priority for Aboriginal use, Kwoba Wirin-up offers a welcoming environment for quiet reflection, cultural practices, and yarning.

Kwoba Wirin-up is located in North Thomson Bay, along Nyi Nyi Bidi. Overlooking the calm waters of Thomson Bay, the space is just a short walk from the main settlement and the Visitor Centre
