Pedal & Flipper
Pedal & Flipper is the largest facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere with over 1,890 bikes and specialty equipment available for hire. Located on Rottnest Island behind the Hotel Rottnest, they are open every day of the year. In addition to the large range of bikes and equipment, they provide helmets, locks, island information and cycling advice. The team is also trained to personally fit customers to bikes to ensure optimum comfort and safety.
Important note: As per State law, wearing a helmet is enforced on Rottnest Island. Electric bicycles are permitted on Rottnest Island in accordance with the requirements of the Road Traffic Code 2000.
The use of electric rideables (e-skateboards, e-scooters, e-wheels, hoverboards, e-unicycles or e-skates) is regulated under the Road Traffic Code 2000.

Accommodation Shuttle Bus
Settle in to island life faster by taking a shuttle bus to your rooms on arrival.
The shuttle service is a quick and convenient way to move between the Island settlements and airport. The shuttle bus is perfect to get you to your accommodation or save your legs when moving between Thomson Bay, Geordie Bay and Kingstown.
The shuttle bus to Geordie Bay, Longreach Bay, Fays Bay and Kingstown Barracks attracts a small per person fee of $3 per day or $5 per week. Children under 5 years travel free.

Tickets can be purchased from the Visitor Centre, from the Main Bus Stop ticket kiosk or from the driver onboard.
Private charter buses are available for hire for weddings, groups and special events. 34 and 43 seater buses available.

Quokka Coaches Seasonal Transport Pass
Do you visit often? Regular visitors can benefit from a Quokka Coaches Seasonal Transport Pass which provides 12 trips to be used on the hop-on-hop-off Island Explorer service and the accommodation shuttle that runs between Geordie Bay, Longreach Bay, Fays Bay, Kingstown Barracks and the Settlement.

The Quokka Hopper is an on-demand private transfer created for your comfort and accessibility.
Designed to connect you to restaurants, accommodation and island facilities in the main settlements – Thomson Bay and Geordie Bay – and surrounds, there are 12 convenient stop locations for pick up and drop off.
Each journey holds a maximum of seven passengers without luggage, or five passengers with luggage.
Delays may occur if the Quokka Hopper has already been requested. Please allow for travel time to get to your stop location.
The Quokka Hopper operates on demand between 8am – 10pm daily.
