Runfun Travel Rottnest Running Festival

Don’t miss this community fun run event, with proceeds going towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The RunFun Travel Rottnest Running Festival is a community running event like no other.

Held amidst the unique landscapes of Wadjemup / Rottnest Island, participants can choose from a 42 km marathon and accompanying 21.1 km, 10 km and 5 km fun run options.

Organised by the West Australian Marathon Club in the spirit of promoting the joys of distance running, proceeds from this event go towards the worthy cause of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The event commences at 6:55 am, heralded by the wail of bagpipes. Start times for each distance will then commence at:
  • 7 am for the 42 km marathon
  • 8 am for the 21.1 km half marathon
  • 10 am for the 10 km
  • 10:15 am for the 5 km
Not to leave out the young ones, a 300 m Quokka Dash will be held at 12 noon for the kids.
